The fixation persists into adulthood and underlies the personality and psychopathology of the person. Sigmund Freud proposed that if the baby skilled frustration at any of the psychosexual developmental phases, they might experience anxiety that may persist into adulthood as a neurosis, a practical psychological disorder. I had brief relationships with a 60-something-year-old girl when I was 15; a 40-ish woman when I was 19; and a woman in her late 30’s when I was 21. For me it was a strategy to have intercourse, enjoy sex, learn about intercourse, and experience the whole thing in a honest, loving approach, in a stress-free environment. In the phallic stage, a boy's decisive psychosexual experience is the Oedipus complex-his son-father competition for possession of his mother. The boy observes that his father stands in the best way of his love and need for possession of his mom. The end result of this stage can permanently affect the person's propensities towards possession and attitudes toward authority. The erogenous zone related to every stage serves as a supply of pleasure. It happens when you and your accomplice can talk, and find methods shifting your our bodies together that create waves of pleasure. |
