Staff Sergeant James "Fatso" Judson - The sadistic second-in-command of the Stockade, Judson beats and tortures prisoners for minor infractions or insubordination and kills Blues Berry. Blues Berry - Prew and Maggio's friend and fellow prisoner within the Stockade, who's tortured to dying by Judson. Sergeant/ Platoon Guide "Old Ike" Galovitch - An older soldier of Yugoslav background who offers Prew "The Treatment" when he refuses to box. He assaults Prew with a knife, causing Prew to fight again together with his fists after which be sentenced to the Stockade. Judson is later killed by Prew. He ultimately escapes and is suspected of killing Judson. The result is that almost all women don’t consider how having sex after hysterectomy will have an effect on their lives. Tier three is the highest threat class reserved for essentially the most severe sex crimes. Three of the central characters are basically comparable in all three of Jones' World War II novels, however their names are altered.
