Opie and Anthony was an American radio exhibit hosted by Gregg "Opie" Hughes and Anthony Cumia that aired from March 1995 to July 2014, with comic Jim Norton serving as 3rd mic from 2001. The exhibit originated in 1994 when Cumia took portion in a music parody contest on Hughes' nighttime present on WBAB on Long Island, New York. In an effort to capitalize on the comprehensive media protection of the murder demo of O. J. Simpson, Hughes held a music parody contest for listeners to post entries based on the demo. In August 2002, the demonstrate was cancelled for a controversial incident through their yearly Sex for Sam contest. The latter travelled to the station whilst Hughes was performing his display to submit a cassette tape of the parody, and only allowed Hughes to consider it. Place: Unspecified. A division of the phase into two compartments is expected: one particular non-public area for Marilyn and a person place wherever all the other actions take location. |
